Moving from "no work" to "crazy schedule", Life comes at you Fast

Until last month i was looking for a better career opportunity, staying at home & giving interviews. Lot of time to spend with family & kids. Today everything has changed. Joined back, playing a major role on a big project, requiring travel to Boston & working out of most picturesque location (see the picture). Life surely comes at you fast !!!
This is what I've mentioned previously. You never know how things change. One time you may be totally down & out And at other time you might be at top of the world. So, enjoy whatever opportunity life provides you. I was extremely lucky to spend some quality time with my family, while out of work. We managed to go on trip to Disney World, Florida and it was an unbelievable experience.
My current work is what I've always wanted to do & passionate about, so it's really not work as I'm thoroughly enjoying it (at the same time getting paid). Will slowly work on bringing work life balance back. I'm so glad to have a spouse who's extremely supportive and always there.

Spirit of Endurance..Dealing with life
There's a saying 'If life gives you lemons, make lemonade'. Basically, deal with whatever life throws at you but not only deal with it, make the best of whatever opportunity or challenge life presents you.
You have a choice. Either cry, complain, blame others and do nothing OR decide that i will face the situaion, figure out what are my best options and Do The Best that i Can do.
Below video is of 63 yr old father with a son who was born handicapped. 99% of people would've spent their life either being bitter & complaining to God about how he's been unfair & live a life of misery. See, how this family chose to take on this challenge, inspire others & live a life beyond most people can imagine. (thanks to Matt Morris for the video).

What is success, anyways ?

Since i've focussed a lot on success and achieving success in this blog, it is imperative i clarify what success really means to me.
Success is doing something that you really want to do in your life, something you enjoy doing, at the same time help you grow & give you satisfaction and happiness.
Nobody ever starts like that..Sometimes you may not even know WHAT you want.. You'll go thru life, just like any other person. Every stage in life brings it's own challenges, good & bad..You'll enjoy some (for eg. you got married..) and hate some (for eg. dealing with your spouse's family now :-) . So, not everything is ALL good or ALL bad.
The trick is to slowly shaping your life into what you always dream of. As i mentioned earlier, some people, sometimes don't even know what they really want in life. If you're one of those people, don't worry..It will eventually hit you..Think about what makes you happy in life..What could you do, that you'd love doing rest of your life (& this could change as you evolve and grow old).
Let me also tell you, what success is NOT. Sucess is not about how much money you got. It's not about what car you drive, what job you do or how big your house is. Although, this is HOW most of the people measure success in. This happens because just by human nature, we're always seeking approval from others. Other people are always looking at us & judging us by what they see and perceive..Driving an expensive car or even having a BIG job will tell them that we must be very rich and successful. Being rich & successful doesn't mean the same. It's good to be financially successful, but what's equally & critically important is your emotional success. Consider what you're giving Up or sacrificing to achieve, & that becomes your true measure of success. Are you able to have quality of life that makes you feel RICH and HAPPY inside. Somthing that makes you feel and say, "Life is Great.. I love waking up in the morning and doing what i want to do. I can't wait to make it better and enjoy what i got." Then, my friend you're truely successful in life.
In coming posts, i will write about how you can shape your life slowly (and steadily) into what you REALLY want and also the value of TIME. It's one thing that EVERYONE of us get's the same. IT's how you USE your time, will really tell you if you're SUCCESSFUL or not.
